50 Jailed by Polish Court for Aiding Bureya Smuggling

Convicted of having aided in the smuggling across the Polish border of emigrants bound for Biro-Bidjan, Jewish autonomous territory in the Soviet Far East, fifty Jews were today sentenced by the district court to serve from one to three months in prison. Three others were acquitted of complicity after a trial lasting many days.
