Outlining the Government’s program at a plenary session of the Sejm today, Prime Minister Koscialkowski stated that all citizens of Poland, irrespective of their nationality or religion, were expected to work in closest harmony with the State in the interests of regaining general prosperity.

The principle of justice and equality of treatment for all, the new Prime Minister declared, must be carried cut by all branches of the government.

To balance the budget, M. Koscialkowski announced the increase in the income tax and the enactment of a special tax for government employes. In order to encourage agriculture, he said, taxes affecting the rural population will be reduced.

In tribute to the memory of the late Deputy Waclav Wislicki, the entire Sejm stood silently for several minutes.
