Losses in Palestine Disorders Estimated at $15,000,000

The Government, the Jews and the Arabs have suffered losses totaling $15,000,000 in the past eight weeks of disorders. The Palestine Post and the Hebrew daily, Haaretz, reported that the Government had lost $2,500,000. Jewish damages were estimated by insurance experts at $7,500,000. Arab leaders said in a press statement that their general strike had cost $5,000,000. The Jewish damages estimate was erroneously reported as $2,500,000 yesterday.
