The Nazi authorities undertook today to disprove allegations in Emil Ludwig’s new book, “Murder in Davos,” that David Frankfurter, Yugoslavian Jewish medical student, had murdered Wilhelm Gustloff, Nazi leader in Switzerland last February, because the Nazis had maltreated his aged uncle.
Chancellor Hitler’s Voelkischer Beobachter, chief Nazi Party organ, printed a statement purportedly signed by the 60-year-old uncle, Rabbi Solomon Frankfurter, at the invitation of the Nazis in which he denied any ill-treatment.
