The Polish Government has given permission, it was announced today, to send to Palestine £9,000 (about $45,000) collected in Poland for the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, which had been tied up by restrictions on currency transfer.

The permission was granted after Senator Justin Godart, president of the French Palestine Union, had intervened with the authorities.
