The Anglo-Palestine Club gave a reception here last night for Bronislaw Huberman, noted violinist who founded the Palestine Symphony Orchestra of exiles from Germany.
The orchestra, Mr. Huberman said, did not germinate either from anti-Hitlerism or Zionism, but because of Palestine Jewry’s intense enthusiasm for music.
