A bill proposing that Mexico call an international peace conference one of whose purposes it would be to declare the Jews an independent nation with Palestine as their country is being studied by a special Parliamentary commission.

The bill was introduced, according to the local Yiddish daily, Der Weg, by H. Phillipi, who said that reconstitution of the Jewish people in their historic land would be a great step toward world peace.

The international conference would, the bill says, consider altering the political geography of the world, particularly Europe, with a view to insuring world peace.
