Foreign Policy Ass’n Sees Discontent Rising in Reich

Discontent with the Nazi regime is growing in Germany, particularly among the working classes, “where it has occasionally provoked spontaneous but scattered outbreaks of passive resistance,” the Foreign Policy Association reports.

“That the Nazi regime has to some extent lost its hold on the masses is indicated by the frequency of government appeals and exhortations,” says John C. Dewilde, of the association’s research staff.
