Arab groups favoring partition of Palestine have visited Amann, Transjordan, and proclaimed the house of Abdullah Hashemi, headed by Emir Abdullah ibn Hussein, as the leader of the Arabs.
The delegation was headed by Ragheb Bey Nashashibi, ex-mayor of Jerusalem, who leads an Arab faction favoring partition and establishment of an Arab Kingdom in opposition to the faction led by the Grand Mufti, Haj Amin el Husseini.
