IMMIGRATION RESTRICTIONS ENFORCED BY THE PALESTINE GOVERNMENT DURING AND AFTER THE ARAB REBELLION IN 1936 WERE DISCUSSED AT LENGTH TODAY BY THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS MANDATES COMMISSION.

THE COMMISSION ALSO TOOK UP MATTERS OF THE NORMAL ADMINISTRATION OF PALESTINE, WITH JOHN HATHORN-HALL, FORMER CHIEF SECRETARY OF THE PALESTINE GOVERNMENT, SUPPLEMENTING INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE GOVERNMENT’S 1936 REPORT ON AUTONOMOUS ADMINISTRATIONS, IMMIGRATION LAND SALES, EDUCATION, PUBLIC HEALTH AND LABOR.
