Congress Votes Pensions for Zionist Veterans; Labor Exchange to Be Set Up for Aged

THE HUNDREDS OF ZIONIST VETERANS WHO HAVE GROWN OLD IN THE SERVICE OF THE JEWISH HOMELAND MOVEMENT ARE TO RECEIVE PENSIONS UNDER A RESOLUTION ADOPTED TODAY BY THE WORLD ZIONIST CONGRESS.

THE RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF A PENSION FUND ALSO CALLED FOR THE FOUNDING OF A LABOR EXCHANGE FOR THE SPECIAL PURPOSE OF PROVIDING AGED ZIONISTS WITH EMPLOYMENT IN PRIVATE AND PUBLIC ORGANIZATIONS.

THE ZIONIST MOVEMENT IS OFFICIALLY 40 YEARS OLD THIS MONTH, DATING FROM THE FIRST ZIONIST CONGRESS AT BASEL, AND MANY OF THE FOUNDING FATHERS OF THE JEWISH HOMELAND MOVEMENT ARE STILL ALIVE IN VARIOUS COUNTRIES.
