HELP IS BEING SOUGHT THROUGH INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENT FOR THE 2,000,000 “MEN WITHOUT COUNTRIES” THROUGHOUT THE WORLD, THE STATELESS REFUGEES WHO HAVE NO NATIONAL PASSPORTS.

REPRESENTATIVE OF TWENTY-EIGHT JEWISH AND NON-JEWISH REFUGEE RELIEF ORGANIZATIONS, AT A RECENT MEETING HERE OF THE LIAISON COMMITTEE OF THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS HIGH COMMISSION FOR REFUGEES FROM GERMANY, URGED THAT PROVISION FOR THE STATELESS REFUGEES BE INCLUDED IN THE PROPOSED INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION ON THE LEGAL AND SOCIAL STATUS OF GERMAN REFUGEES. SIR NEILL MALCOLM, LEAGUE HIGH COMMISSIONER, REPORTED TO THE COMMITTEE THAT SOME GOVERNMENTS GIVE PREFERENCE TO GERMAN REFUGEES OVER THOSE OF NO NATIONALITY WHO WERE NOT FORMERLY GERMAN CITIZENS.
