Bulletin Rumania Suspends Decree on Christian Maids

The Labor Ministry today suspended execution of the decree forbidding Jews to employ Christians under 45 years of age as maids, in order to prevent unemployment during the Winter. The official Tara Noastra announced that Jews employed in the Rumanian diplomatic service will be dismissed. The only three Jews so employed are the commercial attaches Helphant in Portugal, Puru in Rome and Burcovich in Syria and Palestine.
