A five-point racial program dealing with the Government’s recently announced policy of “balanced purity” for the Italian people has been established by the Institute of Fascist Culture, it was announced today by Achille Starace, Fascist Party Secretary.

After stating the Institute must devote itself to racial problems, the fundamental points of the policy were given as follows:

1– Identification of permanent type characteristics of the Italian race as they exist in modern Rome.

2– Establishment of a program for the continuity and development of race protection through the fascist regime.

3– New aspects and the importance of the race problem after the conquest of Ethiopia.

4– The problem of race-consciousness and the function of a spiritual autarchy in the nation.

5– The Jewish problem in the world and in Italy.

The purge of Jews from Italian economy was reported about to be extended to the banking field. It is understood Jews will be eliminated from lists of new members of administrative councils which administer the banks.
