Hitler, in driving the Jews out of Germany, drove out the most cultured and most active section of the population, declared Louis Rodriguez, president of the dominant Peoples’ Front Party and former private secretary of President Lazaro Cardenas, addressing an audience which included high political leaders at the first of a series of anti-Nazi meetings sponsored by the League for German Culture. He attacked Hitler as a demagogue and disseminator of hatred.
