Saturday and Sunday have been designated as Loyalty Days in churches and synagogues throughout the country, under the auspices of the National Committee for Religion and Welfare Recovery, which includes more than 700 leaders in church and welfare organizations, Catholic, Protestant and Jewish. Executive Chairman Charles V. Vickrey said the Loyalty Days program “is a constructive, educational and cooperative effort to mobilize the spiritual forces of the nation.”
