Lord Lloyd presided at the opening today of an exhibition of paintings and drawings by the Polish Jewish artist Arthur Szyk, entitled “War and Kultur in Poland.” Three caricatures of Hitler were immediately sold. One of them depicts Hitler with blood-stained hands shouting, “All we want now is peace — a piece of Poland.”
