Home Secretary Sir John Anderson revealed in the House of Commons today that he has authorized chief constables to arrest and intern any Category C aliens whose reliability is doubted. He admitted that Category C aliens were interned without any reason being given when the action was represented as a matter of military necessity.

Fifty refugee doctors who, with the agreement of the British Medical Association, had been permitted to undergo training in order to qualify for licenses to practice here, have been dismissed from their posts, it was learned today.
