The Nazi authorities in Norway have ordered removal from libraries and publishing houses and destruction of books written by Jews, Britons and some Norwegians, in a measure “to purify Norwegian reading matter,” Norwegian sources here reported today.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
