A demand that the British Government consent to formation of a full-fledged Jewish army was made by Eri Jabotinsky on Saturday nigh, speaking at a reception held by the Betar, Zionist-Revisionist youth organization, at the Hotel Capitol. It was exactly a year from the date when his late father, Vladimir Jabotinsky, inspected a Betar parade in the same hotel.
Speakers Saturday night included Consul-Generals M. Goris of Belgium and Karel Hude of Czechoslovakia and Col. Stratekos, Greeks, military attache. Goris stressed the long-standing friendship between Jews and other citizens in Belgium.
