A statement issued by the Citizenship Educational Service, coordinating body of 24 national patriotic, religious and welfare organizations, declaring that Rep. Rankin’s anti-Jewish attack “is something that should never be permitted to happen again in a land which prides itself on its democracy,” was inserted in the Congressional Record today at the request of Rep. M. J. Kennedy (Dem.,N.Y.), who urged that it be read by every member of the House.
