The Jewish Aviation League of America today inducted twenty-five young men into the Jabotinsky Flying School before a number of prominent guests representing the Allied governments and others interested in the plan for a Jewish Army. The ceremony took place at the Rockaway Airport, Edgenere, L. I.

Nicholas G. Lely, Consul General of Greece, Karel Hudec, Consul General of Czechoslovakia, and a representative of the Polish government-in-exile spoke on behalf of the Allied nations. Colonel Morris Mendelson, past national commander of the Jewish War Veterans of America, himself a veteran of the Spanish-American War, spoke on behalf of American Jewry supporting the demands of a Jewish Army. Eri Jabotinsky, son of the late Vladimir Jabotinsky, noted Zionist leader, in whose name the school was founded brought a message of greetings from Palestinian Youth to the Youth of America.
