The second conference of Palestine mayors called to discuss the rising cost of living met today in the home of Omar I1 Bitar, mayor of this city. The conferees decided to request an audience with Sir Harold MacMichael, Palestine High Commissioner, to whom they will submit a joint memorandum suggesting measures to half the unprecedented increase in the prices of essential commodities.
