Lionel Nathan de Rothschild, a member of the famous Jewish banking firm and a public and communal worker here for many years, died today at the age of 60 after a long illness. He was President of the United Synagogue, treasurer of the Jewish Board of Guardians and a director of other Jewish organizations. In 1917 he was awarded the Order of the British Empire.
