The Palestine Government announced today that 1,100 immigration certificates have been assigned for the three-month period from July 1 to Sept. 30 of this year. This includes persons of all categories, both Jewish and non-Jewish immigrants.

A delegation of the Vaad Leumi, the National Council of Palestine Jewry, today visited Mr. Geoffrey Walsh, Economic Adviser to the Palestine Government, to discuss the possibility of providing Palestine Jewry with unleavened bread during next year’s Passover festival under the present food restrictions. Mr. Walsh assured the delegation that the Yishuv will not be left without mazoth in spite of the restrictions in force.
