The Council of Continental Zionists today decided to petition the Executive of the Jewish Agency to establish a special Galuth department to deal with immediate and post-war problems of Jews in Nazi-held European countries.
The Council further decided to organize in London in the near future an exhibition depicting in graphic detail the contributions and sacrifices that Jews all over the world are making towards effective prosecution of the war. An appeal for material, suggestions and assistants will be sent to all Jewish organizations in Great Britain.
