Jews in Nazi-occupied Poland were assured last night in a broadcast from here that President Roosevelt and Winston Churchill are fully aware of the “agonies which Polish Jewry suffers under the Nazis” and that the Polish Premier Sikorski has definitely guaranteed a normal life for Jews in post-war Poland.

The broadcast was made by Benzion Margulies, chairman of the Council of Polish Jews in Great Britain whose address was beamed to Poland over the BBC European service. “All those fighting for the freedom of the world know of your sufferings and you have, by your perseverance, won the admiration of those who are fighting for your deliverance,” Mr. Margulies said, addressing himself to the Jews in the Polish ghettos. He emphasized that the Council is composed of Polish Jews representing all parties and non-party elements.
