Christian Council on Palestine Formed; Asks Admission of Refugees to America

A two-point program asking for the establishment of Palestine as a Jewish Commonwealth and for the admission of Jewish refugees to other countries, especially to the United States, was adopted by the Christian Council on Palestine which was formed here following the conference of Christian leaders this week at the Hotel Pennsylvania at which free immigration of Jews to Palestine was urged. Dr. Henry A. Atkinson was elected president of the new organization.
