Peter Bercovitch, Liberal member of the Canadian Parliament, died here today at the age of 63. He was the first Jew to sit in the Quebec legislature and had been a member of the Federal Parliament for several years. Mr. Bercovitch was active in Jewish Affairs and was the first president of the Jewish Immigrant Aid Society of Canada.
