Delegates to the convention of the New York State Federation of Labor, representing 1,500,000 workers, today adopted unanimously a resolution urging ”our Government and the Government of Great Britain to bring about the immediate and unequivocal repeal of the entire White Paper policy, replacing it with a new policy which shall provide for free entry of Jews into Palestine — a policy consistent with the tragic needs of the Jewish people and the magnificent contribution made by the Jewish workers of Palestine to the war effort of the United Nations.”

The resolution also pledged support for the program of the American Jewish Trade Union Committee for Palestine which was organized ” for the purpose of crystallizing the sentiment of American labor in behalf of a free and democratic Jewish Commonwealth in Palestine.”
