Trial of Moyne Killers Expected to Open in Cairo This Month; Police Raid Irgun Press

The trial of the two Palestinian terrorists charged with the murder of Lord Moyne will open in Cairo this month, according to an official communique issued there over the week-end.

Proceedings will open as soon as certain vital information is obtained in Palestine. Although the trial will be held under martial law, five civil judges will preside. Arabic will be used in the court, but Hebrew and English interpreters will be present. Many witnesses are expected to be called from Palestine and Egypt.

Meanwhile, Palestine police announced today that in a raid yesterday they captured the printing plant of the Irgun Zvai Leumi, outlawed terrorist organization, while it was engaged in printing two illegal pamphlets. On Friday, the police report, they discovered two packages containing 21,000 pamphlets on top of a Tel Aviv to Jerusalem bus. They also announced that nine terrorist suspects were arrested during the week-end at Ramath Gar.
