Philadelphia Holds Ceremonies Marking 160th Anniversary of Haym Salomon’s Death

Haym Salomon, Jewish patriot who helped finance the Revolutionary War, was honored by the city of Philadelphia yesterday on the occasion of the 160th arniversary of his death. Patriotic, historical, fraternal and veterans groups participated in ceremonies held in the Mikveh Israsl cemetery here.
