The American Jewish Conference has been authorized by the War Department to send a limited number of special representatives to Germany and other areas occupied by American forces in Europe to act as liaison officers for the Jews still confined in camps, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learned today.

These representatives, soem of whom may leave within a fortnight, will work under the auspices of UNRRA and assist in solving the problem of the Jewish stateless and non-repatriable persons.
