Fourteen persons were killed during anti-Jewish riots in the city of Tripolis, Lebanon, yesterday, the Daily Mail reports today from Cairo. It says that troops were called out to quell the disturbances.

Another report from Cairo says that Syrian Premier Seadullah el Jabry, in a statement issued after a meeting of the Arab League, declared that the cause of the Palestine Arabs has never been better understood. He expressed the hope that a satisfactory solution of the Palestine problem could be achieved.
