Weizmann Calls Morgan Statement on Polish Jews “palpably Anti-semitic”

Dr. Chaim Weizmann, leader of the World Zionist Organization, said today that the statement issued in Frankfort by Lieut. Gen. Sir Frederick Morgan, UNRRA director in Germany, with regard to Jewish refugees from Poland (see page 3) was “so palpably anti-Semitic that I would not deign to enter into any discussions” with Gen. Morgan.
