Pledging a firm stand against “growing anti-Semitism as contrary to the teachings of Jesus,” the Young Women’s Christian Association of the United States forwarded to President Truman and Congress a formal request to increase as an emergency measure the number of Jews to be admitted to this country.

The communications carried out the instruction of a resolution adopted at the concluding session of the 17th national convention yesterday.
