Wise, president of the American Jewish Congress, in an address delivered at the annual dinner of the Central Sephardic Jewish Community of America, at the Henry Hudson Hotel
“I have a great admiration and a deep respect for Sephardic Jewry, whose contribution to the spiritual heritage of all Jews has been enormous,” Dr. Wise said, “The time has now arrived for the Sephardic Jews in America to become more aware of that heritage, to do more to foster it,” he declared.
