Britain Rejects Request of Arab Governments for Anglo-arab Talks on Palestine

The British Government has definitely turned down the request of the Arab governments for bilateral Anglo-Arab talks on Palestine which would exclude the United States and the Jews from participating in a settlement of the Palestine problem, it was learned here today.

It was emphasized that at present the British Government is primarily interested in reaching an agreement with the Government of the United States with regard to the Palestine issue. However, Anglo-Arab talks are not excluded at a later stage, it was pointed out.
