Z.O.A. Announced First Fellowship, Scholarships for Study at Hebrew University

The winners of the first annual fellowship and scholarships for study at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem awarded by the Zionist Organization of American were announced today.

The Judah Lovine Fellowship of $2,500 was granted Marvin Feinstein of Brooklyn, N.Y., an instructor at the Herzliah Teachers Seminary, who is completing doctorate studies in early Zionist history. The $1,500 scholarships were awarded to Claire Adolf of Paterson, N.J., Seymour J. Cohen of New York City, and Benjamin Rivlin of Washington, D.C. All awards provide for one year’s study at the Hebrew University commencing with the fall semester of 1946.
