Mrs. Moses P. Epstein, president of Hadassah, urged President Truman today to oppose the projected federalization plan for Palestine in a telegram sent prior to her departure to Paris where she will attend meetings of the Executive of the Jewish Agency.

Stressing that the proposed partition plan would “make the salvation of the homeless remnant of European Jewry dependent upon a political scheme which wipes out international guarantees, ghettoizes Palestine, and negates written and oral pledges” given by the President and his administration, Mrs. Epstein, whose message was sent on behalf of the 200,000 Hadassah members, appealed to the President to “aid those who turn to Palestine as their only hope.”
