Raid Uncovers Huge Quantity of Stolen British Uniforms in Arab Village

A huge quantity of uniforms recently stolen from military stores at Tel Litwinsky was discovered today in a neighboring Arab village, revealing the increased activities of illegal groups among the Arabs.

The Haganah radio asked tonight for an investigation into the manner in which the several hundred refugees who arrived here last month were deported to Cyprus. It demanded to know the fate of 12 who were hospitalized after the battle between the Palmach and a British destroyer and accused the authorities of using gas which caused painful burns and blinded many of the immigrants for several hours.

Mystery surrounds the death of 16-year-old Moshe Yemini, who was found killed by a train on a railroad track in a Jerusalem suburb. His parents said that he disappeared last night after a surprise check-up by police near his home.
