Jewish School to Be Opened in Vienna for Children of Transient Refugees

A Jewish elementary school is to be established here for children of transient refugees, many of whom remain in Vienna for several months. About 65 children will receive instruction in a variety of subjects, with emphasis on Hebrew and religious instruction.

Sixty-four Austrian Jewish children who study at state schools will attend the Jewish institution part of the day to receive religious instruction. The JDC representative has promised financial aid to the new school.
