Jewish Deputies Confer with Polish Justice Minister on Law Suppressing Anti-semitism

Jewish deputies in the Polish National Assembly have conferred with Minister of Justice Henryk Swiatkowski on draft of a law to suppress anti-Semitic propaganda. Present at the conference were representatives of all Polish political parties, members of various government departments and a representative of the League Against Racism.

The American authorities in Germany will surrender three assistants of Hans Bibow, notorious “hangman” of Lodz, to the Polish military mission for trial as war criminals, it was learned today. The three, M.N. Zeiferts, L. Riebe and H. Czarnula, will be extradited shortly.

A special court in Czestochowa has sentenced three Poles to sentences of ten to fifteen years imprisonment for murdering Abraham Kaplan, a Jew who took refuge with them while fleeing the Gestapo.
