Martial Law is Bound to Fail, Ben-ami Says Upon His Return from Palestine

“The present martial law and other drastis mea sures that the British are undertaking and the threat of economic ruin held over Pal estine by the British are bound to fail,” Y. Ben-Ami, vice-president of the American League for A free Palestine, predicted today following his arrival from Palestine.

He said that the underground movement anticipated British martial law “and was fully prepared to continue its work for liberation of Palestine despite the severe restriction which martial law will entail.”
