Anting of Bomb in Colonial Office Leads to Inquiries in France, Holiand and Palestine

Scotland Yard Chief Inspector E.W. Jones today flew Paris to consult with French police on the bomb which yesterday was discovered ## the Colonial Office building here, it was revealed tonight.

Jones’ flight followed an announcement by police officials here that they spect to make an arrest within 48 hours. It was also learned that inquiries have ?read not only to France but also to Palestine and Holland. The explosive used ## making the bomb is believed to have come from France. Experts declared that it robably would never have exploded, although similar explosives were used in the ##bing of the British embassy building in Rome.

Officials at the British consulate in Paris are taking strict precautions to prevent further bomb incidents, Reuter reported today. Military police halt all visitors to the embassy or the officers club and search their baggage, while ## special messenger checks their documents and escorts them to the required official.
