Dept. Outlines Procedure for Regaining Confiscated Jewish Property in Holland

The State Department today announced the procedure for regaining property in the Netherlands which had been seized by German spencies during the Nazi regime.

Persons whose property was seized by Lippmann, Rosenthal and Co., of Sar##, Amsterdam, an agency used by the German to confiscate Jewish property in the Netherlands, may new present claims for that property, the department advised Custodians of the firm, which was taken over by the Netherlands Government at the time of the liberation, still hold a small part of the confiscated property, which will be restored upon proper identification, it was announced.

Owners of property which was sold, or which cannot be identified, may file ## with the custodians to share in the fund which will be realized from the liquidation of the assets of the agency. Heirs of a person who had an account with the organization and whose death has been officially proved are also authorized to file claims, the Department stated.
