The draft constitution being prepared for adoption by the National Assembly contains a specific guarantee that all citizens shall ### recognized as equal under the law regardless of sex, nationality, race or creed, ##t was reported today. The constitution makes it a punishable offense to disseminate special hatred propaganda.
Another provision of the new constitution takes from the various religious communities the right to maintain parochial school systems. However, the state will undertake to provide schools for all nationalities and it is expected that the Jewish communities’ financial burdens will be considerably, lightened under such an arrangement.
