British Engineers Union Asks Govt., over Leaders’ Opposition, to Ban Anti-semitism

Despite the opposition of powerful union chiefs a member of the Labor Party’s executive, the influential Amalgamated Engineering on adopted a resolution, at it’s annual conference at Blackpool this week-end, ##ing the government to outlaw all forms of fascist and anti-Semitic activity.

Union leaders asserted there was little chance of a totalitarian system eloping in Britain, but the conference overrode their appeals to drop the motion, ##er hearing an eye-witness account from a London Jewish delegate who described the fascist riots and demonstrations in the North London area.
