Methods to overcome the immigration barriers of ##grant-receiving countries discriminating against professional, intellectual and mastic workers in favor of agriculture and industrial immigrants were discussed By at a special five-day parley in Gwatt sponsored “by the International Refugee ionization and attended by representatives of voluntary relief agencies.William E. Tuck, I.B.O. executive secretary, told the parley that refugee fissional workers should lie prepared to accept employment in non-professional Ids. “I believe that no DP who does not wish to return to his country of origin ##ld pass by an opportunity to be resettled as an ordinary immigrant,” he said. Terence chairman Hilda Verwey-Jonker estimated that approximately 30,000 refugee racialists, representing 88 professions, arts and sciences, are at present in DP ##s in Europe.
