All towns in the province of Kielce, whose streets have been littered with uprooted tombstones from Jewish cemeteries since the Nazi occupation, were ordered today to arrange for the immediate return of the tombstones to the proper burial places.

The order was issued by Minister for Administrative Affairs Obsubka-Morawski, at the behest of the Central Jewish Committee. In some towns, including Radom, the task of returning the tombstones to their proper resting places has already begun.
